Bucharest
I’m Carmen Radu, a licensed clinical psychologist, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist and a relational psychoanalytic psychotherapist in training. For me, psychotherapy is a living space of human connection, a deep process of self-discovery, transformation and reconnection with oneself. I deeply believe in the value of the therapeutic relationship – that safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore meanings, emotions, inner conflicts and personal resources. Each therapy session is, for me, an opportunity to build together a path toward self-understanding and a more conscious, authentic life. I work with adults and adolescents, both in private practice (in person and online) and at the Social Psychotherapy Center in Bucharest. I’ve accompanied people through moments of crisis, emotional pain and identity confusion, including during my time as a volunteer on the DepreHub emergency helpline, where I offered psychological first aid to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. Therapy means work, courage and presence, but it’s also an act of self-care and a profound choice to live with meaning. I’m here to support you in that journey with respect, gentleness and dedication.
