My path into psychology started with a genuine curiosity about people, how they think, feel, and make sense of the world. Over time, that curiosity grew into a calling. I believe deeply in the therapeutic relationship, and that reaching out for help takes courage rather than signalling weakness. I believe in the dignity of every person and in their ability to hold both self-acceptance and the desire to grow. I earned my degree in psychology at the University of Glasgow, and went on to train as a psychotherapist, specialising in integrative trauma therapy. I'm currently training in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) as well. Beyond the therapy room, I care about building a society where mental health matters just as much as physical health. That's why I work as a mental health consultant for the World Health Organization and stay actively involved with the association Mental Health for Romania.
