About me

Hello, my name is Laura and I am a systemic couples and family therapist (accredited by COPSI). This means that, when we will work together, I will take into consideration all the things that can impact you, including your relations with other people, your family history, your environment and so on and so forth. I work both with individual people, as with couples or families, online or in a physical office. I started my own therapy journey in a moment of terrible grief. However, my therapy helped me integrate the pain I was feeling and turn it into something useful for me, but it also improved a lot the quality of my life. The reason I have started to follow this path is because I know how important it is to have a hand reaching out to you in the darkest moments. During our sessions, we can work together to improve: - self-knowledge: for you to be able to better understand your emotions, thoughts and patterns of behaviour - communication: to learn how to express your needs and feeling better, which will lead to improved relations with the people surrounding you; - resilience: to be able to accept what you cannot change and to adapt easier to the stages of life; - self-confidence: to get the necessary confidence to take decisions and reach your goals. I can help with obstacles related to a variety of topics: depression, anxiety, (including panic attacks and phobias), bereavement, dependencies, sleep issues, sexual difficulties, relationship conflicts, marital counseling and traumas etc. I know that deciding to get therapy is a big step, which involves vulnerability and working with oneself.
