Hello, I am Mădălina Burghelea, a clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioral therapist accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists. Throughout my professional journey, I have been involved in numerous projects, working with both children and adults, as well as inmates in the penitentiary in Iași. I spent a semester at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens as part of the Erasmus program and worked in the USA through the Work and Travel program for three summers. I also briefly worked in a multinational company in the recruitment department, conducting daily interviews with people from various cultures around the world. Why am I sharing all of this with you? Well, these experiences, combined with years of studying mental health, have shaped me and made me capable of providing my clients with emotional support and a judgment-free safe space where they feel comfortable to open up and freely discuss the challenges they are facing. Thus, I assure you that you will find in me an empathetic and understanding psychotherapist, ready to help you overcome difficult times, rediscover yourself, develop your skills in managing your own emotions and behaviors, as well as improve your interpersonal abilities. I will assist you in understanding the strategies and techniques we will apply during our sessions so that you can apply them in your everyday life and become your own therapist.
