About me

Let's face it - you're probably not here because of how good life gets - quite the contrary, things sometimes get messy, confusing, and overwhelming. My name is Nicoleta Bota, I am a psychotherapist, and I invite you to take a closer look at what you can do with your pain, how you can transform it, and allow it to transform you. And you might come to realize that the difficulties you are experiencing carry within them the answer for a more authentic and fulfilled life. As Richard Rohr said, "What looks like falling can be experienced as falling upward into a deeper world, where the soul finds fullness." Before becoming a therapist, I committed to my own therapeutic process, my own falling upwards, which allowed me to gain clarity on some things, while still figuring out some others. But what is clear to me is that I want to support other people in healing their emotional wounds and live more authentically and harmoniously with themselves and others. I strongly believe that the only way out is through; In this journey, I will be there to create a safe and empathetic space where you can explore your emotions, as well as shed light on the strengths and resources you already have. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with elements from other paradigms like schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and attachment theory. I invite you to bravely step into the unknown.
