About me

I am Olimpia Neagoe, clinical psychologist and systemic family and couple psychotherapist in training. I am a woman, a mother, a friend, a daughter, and I have had the opportunity to observe life with its multitude of facets by going through various obstacles and trials myself. These equipped me to continue. The family I grew up in had difficult relationships and moments that were difficult to manage but contributed to the person I am today. I had my own therapeutic approach to be able to interact therapeutically with people and families. My journey is exciting and I am grateful that I trusted my path and intuition and allowed myself to pursue a career in clinical psychology and psychotherapy. It gives me great satisfaction to do this work, I know how it feels to be in the customer's place and it gives me great satisfaction to be able to offer in turn. Although I don't believe in luck, I consider myself lucky to be able to do this job. When I look at my clients I don't see a pathology but I see a person in a context, in a social and family dynamic, I see the emotions that accompany that person and I seek to rewrite histories and beliefs together so that they are of use. Being human hurts but that doesn't mean it has to be a constant.
