Cluj-Napoca
Hello! I am Monica Bartucz, a Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists since 2015. I earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca in 2022. During my doctoral studies, I investigated the role of psycho-cultural factors in the development and maintenance of mental health problems. After completing my doctoral studies, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Mental Health Research and Training at the University of Verona, Italy. Here, my work focused on the field of global mental health, particularly on implementing psychosocial interventions developed by WHO to address the mental health needs of Ukrainian refugees in Central and Eastern Europe. My mission is to reduce the suffering of individuals facing mental health issues by providing scientifically validated psychological interventions and disseminating scientific knowledge in the field of psychology to the community. The cardinal values guiding my professional activity are (1) respect for human rights, (2) trust, (3) collaboration, (4) efficiency, and (5) impact. Whether you are dealing with mental health issues or seeking to improve your ability to cope with stress, relate healthily to others, or make difficult decisions, my services are designed to be a source of support for you. If you wish to embark on this journey of self-discovery and personal development, I encourage you to contact me.
